How I Became RAYITO’s Dog Mom:

Rayito was a dog that was abandoned in the woods inside a cage. Someone found him and took him to the SPCA in Wake County, NC. We adopted him when he was only about 4 months old.

Rayito was a very sweet, but protective doggy. He loved his food and toys. He bit everyone in our family a few times because he was a bit possessive. Hahaha, scary at times, but we got used to it.

RAYITO’s Favorite Toys:

Rayito LOVED his tennis balls. That was all he really liked. Oh, and a stuffed golden retriever puppy, LOL.

RAYITO’s Favorite Places To Visit:

Rayito was a big dog, so visiting places for him was hard. But he went to a park that he really enjoyed. Rayito also loved walking around our neighborhood.

My Special Connection With RAYITO:

Rayito taught us to love all animals no matter what. He showed us what it was like to be loved unconditionally and what it was like to love someone unconditionally.

Saying Good Bye To RAYITO:

Rayito went to The Rainbow Bridge at 12:15 am on June 24, 2017. He was laying on his side, as he had not been able to walk for 3 weeks. Rayito took his last breath after struggling to breathe for a little while.

We hugged Rayito and cried as we said goodbye. He was laying on the bed that we had just bought for him, so that he could be comfortable. It was painful to watch Rayito pass away in front of us, but he was so loved.

To RAYITO Across The Rainbow Bridge:

My puppy, we all miss you every day. You were everything to us and especially during your last few days, you taught us to be closer as a family. You brought us closer.

My boy, we long to see you every day and your photograph reminds us of the way you used to lay when you were with us. We are so happy to have had you and for you saving us. Because we didn't save you, you saved us. You gave us memories that will last a lifetime, you gave us so much love and loyalty. You taught all of us to give you love and to love you as you were; both when you were grumpy and when you were sweet.

I know you are finally walking again at the Rainbow Bridge, and it was selfish of us to want you to stay when you were meant to be running around. All we wish for was more time with you, but you still gave us the most amazing 10 years ever.

You are with Luna now, your sister who left us a few years ago. You both are finally together again. And we can't wait to see you again. I'm anxious for the Rainbow Bridge and seeing you. We all are. And when that day comes, I will throw you those tennis balls the way I used to.

Until we meet again my beautiful boy. I love you. WE love you. Your family misses you.
